John Doyamis has over twenty years of experience in structured finance origination, investment banking, mortgage lending, RMBS valuation and mortgage finance consulting. This includes extensive experience in structuring asset backed transactions across multiple asset classes including residential mortgages, trade receivables and other consumer loans.
Mr. Doyamis started his career at Merrill Lynch’s mortgage research department in 1987, before he moved to the RMBS origination group in 1989. In 1994 Mr. Doyamis joined Bear, Stearns as a head of the newly created Non Agency RMBS Group. In 1997 Mr. Doyamis initiated the creation of a publicly traded mortgage REIT, HELIOS 2000, which invested in Non-Agency RMBS and residuals.
From 2000 to 2003 Mr. Doyamis, through his own consulting company, JD Consulting Associates, served as a senior consultant to Capital One’s corporate development group, where he developed a multi faceted mortgage origination and funding plan.
ABN Amro in 2005 hired Mr. Doyamis as a Managing Director in its ABS group to head its non- agency securities origination and mortgage warehousing efforts.
Since 2008 John and Rob DiOrio have been consulting with financial institutions in assessing RMBS portfolios, evaluating new mortgage origination strategies and designing mortgage financing strategies. He currently runs Estia Business Group, an advisory company, which assists a variety of domestic and international companies to raise debt and equity in the international capital markets.
Robert DiOrio has over 25 years in credit and risk management in mortgage banking and consumer finance. Mr. DiOrio’s experience ranges across multiple asset classes including prime and subprime residential mortgages, home-equity lines of credit, auto loans and leases, manufactured housing, construction and agricultural loans, and tax liens. Mr. DiOrio has closed over one-hundred securitizations across a broad range of consumer assets and established de novo securitization programs for many first-time issuers and first-time asset categories.
Mr. DiOrio’s experience has included developing and heading asset-backed financing and securitization groups where he was responsible for a financing book of $10 billion and leading a strategic process for diversification into other asset categories. Since 2008, Mr. DiOrio has been a Senior Member of Estia Business Group advising clients on consumer portfolios, evaluating new mortgage origination strategies and designing mortgage financing structures.
Mr. DiOrio earned a BA in Economics from SUNY at Stony Brook and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
Paul Saraferas has over 25 years of experience in the banking and investment management business. In 2012, he co-founded FlemCapital A.G., an advisory and management firm providing asset management and project finance solutions. Additionally, he was the founder of Proanax Holdings LTD. which operated the AnaxMarkets trading platform, offering investment products including FX, Commodities / Futures and Global Equities & Indices.
From 2005 - 2012, Mr. Saraferas was the Head of Capital Markets for Unicredit Group (Greece and Cyprus) where he was responsible for institutional clients including the Hellenic Republic with a special focus on debt capital markets. From 1995 - 2004, Mr. Saraferas served as Deputy Manager & Head of Trading, Fixed Income, Futures and Derivatives at Alpha Bank A.E. (Athens, Greece) Treasury. He was responsible for the bank’s proprietary, multi-asset class investment portfolio in excess of €4 billion.
From 1990 - 1994, Mr. Saraferas served as Director of the Treasury Department and Portfolio Manager at Bank Leumi Trust Company of New York, where he co-managed the Bank’s portfolio of $1.3 billion. In 1987, he joined Marine Midland / HSBC Bank of New York as a Financial Officer in Municipal Markets.
Mr. Saraferas holds an MBA in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with honors and was a candidate for the Wall Street Award. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) in Marketing and in Interntional Business (minor) from Pace University.
Mr. Saraferas is a frequent contributor to major financial media outlets including Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Financial Times.
Ms. Alexia Doyamis is a recent MBA graduate from the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. During the MBA programme, Ms. Doyamis was the Co-Chair of the Oxford Business Network for Women’s Leadership, where she spearheaded her colleagues’ professional development and career advancement goals by facilitating workshops, talks, lectures and company visits. Also as part of the MBA programme, she worked on a two-month independent consulting project with Accenture where she and her team conceptualised a new framework for establishing and retaining consumer loyalty in the digital age.
Ms. Doyamis received her B.A. from the College of Arts & Sciences at New York University with a dual major in Political Science and European & Mediterranean Studies, plus a minor in Italian. She maintained her position on the NYU Dean’s List for the duration of her studies and graduated with an Honours Degree. During her undergraduate programme she also studied abroad in Florence, Prague and Athens.
Following NYU, she worked at Deutsche Bank in New York City. While at Deutsche Bank, she worked on several transformational change and regulatory change projects within the Technology division, as well as business analysis within the Technology COO department. As an advocate for diversity in the workplace, she also volunteered time and energy to Deutsche Bank’s Women on Wall Street initiative.
Following the MBA, Ms. Doyamis has pursued several independent consulting projects in Greece in a variety of different industries. She has worked on projects involving equity and debt financing, securitization of account receivables, strategic partnerships, corporate, financial and operational due diligence, small business expansion, and other strategic corporate deliverables. She currently works in London for Barclays Bank.

In November 2018, Mr. Keegan founded K. B. Keegan & Associates LLC, a New York based corporate finance advisory practice. The firm focuses on optimal capital structure and debt capacity issues attentive to counterparty risk and credit ratings.
Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Keegan was a relationship manager to large capitalized financial institutions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and at J.P. Morgan. Over a five-year period, he raised in excess of $5 billion. His extensive work with financial institutions included recommending optimal capital structures, the adequacy of liquidity and funding as well as rating agency strategies. As manager at J.P. Morgan, Mr. Keegan developed and implemented the team’s strategy, prepared the budget and recruited and mentored future leaders.
For 25 years before his relationship management responsibilities, Mr. Keegan led Merrill Lynch’s and later J.P. Morgan’s global capital structure advisory businesses. He and the two teams he led focused on assisting the most sophisticated clients resolve complex corporate finance, capital structure and rating agency related problems. In this role, Mr. Keegan provided product agnostic capital structure solutions creating an area of technical expertise for the benefit of clients and colleagues. The advisory unit was particularly active leading up to the Financial Crisis of 2008 and for many years thereafter working extensively with regulators and government officials. For example, Mr. Keegan led the team that structured the European Financial Stability Facility which thereafter became the European Stability Mechanism. Mr. Keegan advised JPMorgan’s CEO and CFO on the firm’s own credit rating matters pursuant to the acquisitions of Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual.
Mr. Keegan has worked in both emerging (Africa, Asia and Latin America) and developed markets since the mid 1980’s. Mr. Keegan’s broad set of experience, across industries as well as geographies, enables he to lead effectively by example. His creative and innovative approach to solving problems is unique.
Mr. Keegan received his B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles in 1981 and his M.B.A. from New York University Stern School in 1985. He speaks fluent French and Portuguese as well as conversational Spanish.

Mr. Kolovos has been working the past years as an independent consultant for Pension Funds, Infrastructure Funds and Development companies with a focus on transportation and renewable energy.
Mr. Kolovos has received an M.Eng in Civil Engineering from NTUA and an MSc in Finance from City University London.
